We identify the current needs of individuals and families, then tap into our vast network of partners and extensive inventory of items to help as many people as possible. We have built strong relationships with corporations, higher education institutions, and other community-based groups over our 25 years of residency, which enables us to achieve our goals effectively. 

Poverty is often associated with low-income neighborhoods and homelessness, but its impact extends far beyond living conditions. It affects various aspects of life, including an individual's ability to form relationships and obtain employment. Community Stitch recognizes the multifaceted nature of poverty and strives to address it by redistributing essential goods, such as clothing and homeware. By improving the quality of life in low-income neighborhoods, Community Stitch aims to create a positive ripple effect that benefits both current and future generations, increasing their chances of success in life.

We are committed to supporting local businesses and keeping all donations within the city of Philadelphia. By shopping locally for both community needs and operational requirements, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and minimize the amount of waste sent to landfills each year.
